HR Consultancy

Recognising that no two clients will ever be the same, we take a very flexible approach to providing our clients with the support they need, providing counsel on a regular basis or as and when the need arises.

Ongoing strategic HR counsel

Ensuring your teams stay on track and your people are aligned to the vision and strategic direction of the business is a full time task, and one that can sometimes seem very daunting when tackling it alone.

Having access to a fully experienced HR expert to help management teams to identify the best way forward can be invaluable. A number of our clients take advantage of having regular input from one or more of our HR experts, each of whom have many year’s experience in guiding businesses in multiple and single locations in determining the best HR strategy and practice to suit their business, their culture and, most importantly, their ambition.

Ongoing strategic guidance for IEGSince helping IEG with a three location restructure in 2012 and gaining the confidence of the business and staff, Becky Hill, HR Now’s founder, has acted as HR Director and member of the firm’s management team. Becky sits on the team’s weekly calls and also visits on a regular basis to maintain a good working relationship with staff and managers. Other members of the HR Now team also provide support on graduate recruitment and contracts alongside IEGs own staff whom HR Now trained to undertake HR admin in-house. Becky’s focus on providing strategic guidance, alongside her team’s support to the business, is continuing to ensure that the business go from strength to strength.

HR help on demand

Many businesses simply require support as and when the need arises. HR Now can provide access to a fully qualified HR professional as and when you need it based on a fixed hourly rate.

Our clients tell us that having external counsel can be extremely valuable, especially during highly emotive situations such as change management or restructuring programmes, as well as when having to deal with the unexpected. People issues are of course notoriously hard to predict, so having direct access to independent advice can be very beneficial, especially in helping managers to handle situations that they often do not have the skills to resolve alone.

Our specific areas of expertise include:

  • managing conflict through our accredited mediation services
  • managing change, including M&A, demergers, restructuring and implementing business strategies
  • managing redundancy programmes
